I wanted to share some of my photos with the group and as you can see, my focus is on nature and wildlife. I have been interested in photography for most of my life and I just turned 73 in March. If memory serves me, I got my first camera at age 8 and I was hooked. My wife, Patty and I retired about 10 years ago and that's when I really had the time to devote to my hobbies, boating, camping, music, and photography. Photography is the one thing that ties all the others together as I can tell stories of all my hobbies through the use of pictures and videos. Enough about me, these shots were taken a couple of months ago at one of my favorite places as the title indicates. This place is a short 2 hour drive from us and I try to get there every two or three months to see what is happening. These shots were all taken while driving along the road around Shoveler's Pond in my Lexus GX 460 which I have set up for adventure travel, a work in progress. If you have any questions about the place or any of the photos, feel free to ask. I will mention here that I shot these with a Canon R5 camera body with adapted Sigma 60-600mm Lens and that these images are so large I can't load full resolution images here. These are small size and may not show as much detail as in the original shots.
