A few years ago I researched vehicles that would have a towing capacity of at least 6000# as we owned a boat that weighed in at around that weight. I ended up purchasing this 2013 Lexus GX 460 in very nice condition with just under 100,000 miles on the clock.Then here came COVID and I started getting interested in over-landing. I began researching and looking at all the aftermarket stuff that was becoming available to modify your vehicle for that purpose. Here's where it got interesting. I knew early on that I couldn't afford to purchase all these additional accessories and gadgets, so I began to make a list of the mods I wanted and which ones I could afford to purchase and which ones I could build or make myself on a tight budget.
